Pennsylvania Inside Out: Turtles, Orchids, Mike Reid

Jennifer Brackbill of Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center explains how turtles defend themselves. Dr. Jay Holcombe, Penn State professor of floriculture, demonstrates how orchids are propagated. He was an All-American Penn State football player in the 1960s and later, a first-round draft pick for the Cincinnati Bengals. When Mike Reid, pianist, performer and Grammy Award winning songwriter, retired from the NFL, he funneled his considerable talents into music.
